There are numerous restaurants nearby and we do strongly recommend a minimum 2 night stay to fully appreciate all that the Peninsula has to offer. There are 35 listed walks in and around the Tasman Peninsula and also the 3 Capes Track. You can stay with us prior to the walk or afterwards, as there is easy access from the villas.
We can arrange your Historic Site passes and book your Lantern Lit Ghost Tour or After Dark package (bookings are essential). Our villas are just over the road from the Port Arthur Historic Site and, with passes from us, you can come and go as you wish via a gate with key access. We can also book the world class Tasman Island Cruise tour for you, taking in the spectacular coastline of the Tasman National Park between Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur. A great eco-cruise with the opportunity for wonderful wildlife encounters.
All our villas are non-smoking with fully equipped kitchens, Foxtel, DVD's and an outside BBQ area (we sell Meat Packs for the BBQ), as well as complementary WIFI.
Port Arthur Villas was originally built in the late 80's, targeting the holiday market out of Hobart and the growing focus onto the Port Arthur Penal site. Over the last 5 years, there has been a greater focus on the development in the Port Arthur area, developing the Port Arthur World Heritage Penal Site and World Famous 3 Capes Track. With the development of the Federal Hotels new site and the closure of the Port Arthur Inn, we are set to assist the continued focus of International and National visitors, especially the Bus Tour Market, to this important area of Australia's history.
